In the past year and a half, Erica has performed at The Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, written for a Comedy Network pilot, taped her own Comedy Now special, written and performed numerous times for CBC Radio and XFM radio and most notably was one of two writer's for the 21st Annual Gemini Awards, aired on Global Television, for which she won a Leo Award for Best Screenwriting in a Comedy. In 2007, Erica was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Female Stand-up in Canada.

One of Canada's top entertainer's shares the "highs and lows" of living the last twenty-three years as a Type 1 diabetic. As both a Leo Award Winning writer and a Canadian Comedy Award nominee, Erica has traveled to Afghanistan and the North Pole to entertain the Canadian Troops as well as recorded her own "Comedy Now" special for CTV and made numerous appearances on the hit CBC Radio Show "The Debaters".

Her journey with diabetes, the needles, the ambulance rides and finally her decision to use an insulin pump are shared with her hilarious take on it.
