Trent McClellan is described as "funny as hell" and "a must see on the Canadian comedy circuit" This type of recognition means he is in constant demand across the country. Trent has appeared at every major comedy festival across the country including Just For Laughs,St.John's Comedy Festival, Calgary YYC Comedy Festival,Edmonton Comedy Festival, Moncton Hubcap Comedy Festival, and Winnipeg Comedy Festival. He has his own standup special on CTV and the Comedy Network is curently embarking on his own national Sit,Listen,& Laugh Tour.His standup is about real things and is the kind of funny you take home and plug into your own life.
This versatile performer also successfully defended the book "February" on the 2013 edition of Canada Reads on CBC. His appearance was viewed by many as "a genuine combination of extreme intelligence and passion." His relationship with books will continue as his humour will also be published in a Newfoundland text book in the near future.
Trent has appeared on George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight's "3 Things Panel" on CBC and has written and performed on four episodes of CBC Radio's "The Debaters."
