Trent grew up in Corner Brook, Newfoundland before taking his humor to St. John's to
become a 'townie'. After supposedly completing university, and apparently working for a
couple of years, Trent decided to move to Calgary, Alberta (like so many other Newfies) to
follow his dream of making it in stand-up comedy.

He walked on stage in 2004 and has since been traveling across Canada entertaining
thousands of people each year. Trent has won the Calgary Comedy Idol Competition, the
Rusty Cage Comedy Competition, finished third in the semi finals of the 2006 Yuk Yuk's
Great Canadian Laugh Off, and twice participated in the Rocky Mountain Comedy Festival.
His material hit the air in 2006 on CBC Radio's "So You Think You're Funny" and cracked
the US market with his debut on XM Satellite Radio.

He has opened for many great headlining comics and this year Trent was chosen to open
for Alonzo Bodden, the winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing. In addition, Trent just
recently performed at the 2007 Halifax Comedy Festival.
