The Be Arthurs Speciality Act Ukulele Cover Band |
The Be Arthurs are an Edmonton based ukulele cover band consisting of Sheldon Elter, Ryan Parker and Bob Rasko. This dynamic trio formed in the summer of 2005 entering into the "busking loop" at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival. They have since then appeared at the Edmonton Street Performers Festival for two consecutive years, they have played in various live venues across Canada, and are re-occurring guest artists on 92.5 JoeFm every Friday morning. Along with being close friends and band members all three of The Be Arthurs are professional actors. Inspiration for their name comes from the famous actress Beatrice Arthur best known from The Golden Girls and Maude. |
