At the top of his class at the Western Canadian School of Auctioneering, Russ is a talented
and successful auctioneer. Versatile, adaptive, with a great sense of humor, a customer
can tell that Russ is enjoying every minute of the sale. Russ has worked in just about every
aspect of the Auction industry since receiving his diploma in Calgary, Alberta August 7th,
1993.

Russ and his crew have had the honor of being chosen to do the auctioneering for
Brookfield Properties annual charity auction in Calgary, Alberta for the 'Make a Wish'
foundation of Canada. This fundraiser helps raise thousands of dollars each year for
children who are diagnosed with a life threatening illness.

Russ is also the auctioneer for 'Laughing for Cancer' charity auction in Edmonton.
Laughing for Cancer is an annual benefit for the Alberta Cancer Foundation in aid of
Edmonton's Cross Cancer Institute. Since 2002 Laughing for Cancer has raised over
$500,000 for the ACF through a live, and often lively auction and comedy show.
