From Stand up Comedy to Speciality Acts to Improv to a Celebrity Host/Emcee to a Motivational Keynote Speaker we can and will find the performer best suited to your needs and budget. A FEW TIPS FOR PLANNING YOUR EVENT What venue should we hold our event at? Depending on the number of people attending your function there are several options open to you. If you are a small company, you may want to consider joining one of the many excellent shared Christmas/Holiday parties being held throughout Canada in a wide variety of fantastic venues and locations. These small business packages are usually held by Hotels, Chamber of Commerces or Community Organizations. These party packages provide a Dinner/Show featuring either comedy, murder mystery or band/dancing that staff will love, but still be cost effective. Treat your staff to something different from the usual meal out at a local restaurant and they will really feel appreciated. If you are entertaining 50+ staff, shared Christmas/Holiday parties are still an excellent option as many cater for large numbers, but it may be time to look at hiring a venue for your company's exclusive use. You can choose from hotel banquet rooms, private clubs, community halls etc. it really depends on the atmosphere you want for your event and of course, your budget What about location? Think about where your guests are traveling from. Do you want a city centre location or somewhere out of town. Will you need to organize transport or even overnight accommodation? Who is going to pay for the transportation/accommodations, the company? Again, it comes down to your budget. How much do I need to spend? This is entirely dependent on your budget. You can spend upwards of $50 per head to join a shared Christmas?Holiday party where your guests will eat well and party to the small hours (drinks will be extra). The sky is the limit on an exclusive Christmas/Holiday party. The party atmosphere Do you want a wild party atmosphere with the emphasis on dancing and drinking? Or something a little more low-key, perhaps a sophisticated dining experience in intimate surroundings? Or somewhere in between where your guests can enjoy a good meal, watch some entertainment and then dance the night away? Dress code Most shared Christmas/Holiday parties request smart dress (no jeans or running shoes), some offer the option of semi formal dress. For your exclusive Christmas/Holiday party you may want to make an occasion of it and go for formal to semi formal dress (it gives everyone a chance to dress up from their normal day) or color themed dress (black and white, sparkles, red, etc.), or simply dress to impress. |
